Curly hair isn't a trend. It's a lifestyle!

Hey Curlfriend!

No curly head is created equal and that's what makes our hair magical. It's also why we need to see someone who understands the uniqueness of each curlfriend. Curly hair should be sculpted and cared for based on each curl's specific needs.
That's where I come in.

Finding someone to trust with your curly crown is hard; trust me, I know! That's what led me to jump at the opportunity to assist a curly master when I began my career. Watching her connect with her clients and educate them on how to properly care for their hair inspired me. It was like learning a new language by being thrown into the culture headfirst. Being hands-on every day with different textures and shapes fueled me.

I learned so much from my mentor and her clients, but my learning didn't stop there. I continue to educate myself on curly hair. Eventually, the drive for more knowledge led me to attend more advanced trainings. Throughout my journey behind the chair, I have taken the things I have learned and married them to create my method of sculpting curly hair.

There's a saying, "Ask a curly girl about her hair and she'll tell you about her life." That's exactly how our curl journey together will begin. I will get to know you and your curly crown in depth. Once I have assessed your curls we will begin. Curly Cuts are typically done on dry hair in its natural curly state. This allows me to sculpt your hair into your ideal shape. Along with the cut, we will begin your curl transformation and coaching. This involves a curl detox, science-based hair care tips, and recommendations for successfully styling your curls at home.​

Please arrive for your appointment with your hair down in a wash & go style, completely dry, and in its natural curl pattern with no clips, headbands, ponytails, or manipulative styles. It is best to have washed your hair within three days so your curl pattern is still intact and tangles are minimal. Styling products are okay, I just ask that you do not use any oils or butters. If you arrive and your hair is severely tangled your appointment may need to be rescheduled or a fee may apply.
